NOx/NO2 Source Apportionment Tool Disclaimer
Purpose
of the tool:
The Concawe NOx/NO2 Source Apportionment tool has been developed by VITO using the QUARK (Quick Urban Air Quality using Kernels) methodology to simulate NO2 concentrations at a high grid resolution of approximately 100 x 100 m.
The tool has a special focus to road transport and is applied to the whole of Europe providing explicit information regarding the contribution of the different vehicle categories (passenger cars, light duty vehicles, heavy duty vehicles, etc.), the different EURO norms (pre-Euro 4, Euro 4, Euro 5, Euro 6), as well as the different types of fuel used (diesel, petrol, CNG, LPG) to NOx emissions and the resulting NO2 concentrations.

Source Apportionment Tool is being made available to member companies, NOIAs representatives
and other associations’ and research institutes’ representatives without charge
or restriction except as is hereinafter provided. No recipient of Concawe
NOx/NO2 Source Apportionment Tool shall:
(i)
copyright
or patent it in any form;
(ii)
redistribute
it to others without Concawe’s prior written authorization;
(iii)
make a
monetary charge for it.
Concawe will not be liable (to the fullest extent permitted at law) for any direct or indirect loss or damage, howsoever arising, as a consequence of any use of or the inability to use, the web-based data analytics tool and its content.
Concawe does not represent or warrant that Concawe NOx/NO2 Source Apportionment Tool is free from defect or deficiency. Recipients shall be solely responsible for correction of defects or deficiencies, if any. There are no warranties, express or implied, including, without limitation, warranties of merchantability or suitability for a purpose.
Each recipient shall indemnify and defend Concawe against claims, liabilities, actions, costs and expenses, which may result from recipient’s violation of the provisions of this disclaimer.
